The Gibsons IGA and Coasters Car Club held its annual show and shine in Gibsons on July 26th. The show was a huge success with 55 cars registered for this event. Bob Hoy, some of his staff, Steve from Grimms and some coasters worked throughout the day at the concession stand, registration and selling coasters shirts. Many spectators turned out to view the cars. Many thanks to Bob once again for donating door prizes and all the proceeds to the club! After the show the coasters headed to Kathy and Rod Johnsons for a pot luck barbecue. What a perfect setting for the coasters and families to get together for a perfect ending to the day. Thanks to all who helped and the cooks who manned the barbecues all day long. It was really a fantastic dinner! Nice to see so many members showing up for these events.
